Greater Grace Leadership Lab is a 10‑week leadership development journey for those who are already serving or sense a call to lead at Greater Grace Church. It is designed to grow your character, deepen your walk with God, and equip you with practical skills to lead people, teams, and ministries with excellence.

What You’ll Experience 

Across 10 weeks, you will learn about: 

– Calling and character of a spiritual leader and Ministerial Ethics
– Servant leadership like Jesus 
– Carrying the vision, values, and culture of Greater Grace Church
– Leading yourself well (time, habits, soul care) 
– Leading teams and volunteers 
– Healthy communication and difficult conversations 
– Planning excellent services and events 
– Shepherding and discipling people 
– Raising and multiplying new leaders

Each session includes teaching, discussion, practical exercises, and focused prayer.

– Those who have gone through Discover Greater Grace track and Activate
– Those who are already serving on a team and want to grow 
– Emerging leaders who feel called to more responsibility 
– Current team leads, group leaders, and ministry coordinators who want fresh tools and sharpening.

The Program

 Session 1 – Foundations of Spiritual Leadership

• Theme: Called to follow before you lead.
• Content: Biblical picture of leadership (servant leadership, stewardship, influence), Jesus’ model.
• Practice: Share personal testimony; define “Why I lead at Greater Grace” in one sentence.

Session 2 – Christ, Character, and Integrity

• Theme: Who you are > what you do.
• Content: Inner life, holiness, emotional health, guarding your life and doctrine.
• Practice: Personal inventory (rhythms: Word, prayer, Sabbath, community); simple rule of life.

Session 3 – Calling and Gifts

• Theme: From generic serving to targeted assignment.
• Content: Spiritual gifts, calling, how God shapes people through story and season.
• Practice: Basic gifts assessment, testimonies in pairs, placing gifts against current roles.

Session 4 – Leading Yourself

• Theme: You can’t lead others if you can’t lead you.
• Content: Time management, priorities, boundaries, dealing with stress and discouragement.
• Practice: Weekly schedule audit; “ideal ministry week” draft; accountability partner check‑

Session 5 – Leading People and Teams

• Theme: From doer to multiplier.
• Content: How to run a huddle, cast vision, give feedback, develop volunteers, build culture.
• Practice: Role‑play a 10‑minute team huddle; practice encouragement + one coaching point.

Session 6 – Communication and Conflict

• Theme: Healthy leaders create healthy teams.
• Content: Clear communication, listening, resolving conflict, handling offense biblically.
• Practice: Simple conflict scenario; practice “listen–clarify–respond–pray” framework.

Session 7 – Systems, Structure, and Stewardship

• Theme: Leaders think beyond Sunday.
• Content: Basics of planning, delegation, checklists, follow‑up, caring for people over time.
• Practice: Build a simple plan (for a service, event, or group semester) with roles and timelines.

Session 8 – Multiplying Leaders (Pipeline)

• Theme: Leaders raise leaders.
• Content: Leadership pipeline vision, spotting potential, the “I do/you watch → you do/I watch” model.
• Practice: Each person names 1–2 people they will intentionally develop over the next 6–12 months and maps next steps.
