7‑Day Fasting & Prayer Theme: Supernatural Breakthrough
Dates: May 2–8 (One meal a day withing 2hrs 30min)
Main Scriptures: 2 Samuel 5:20; Isaiah 43:6
Supernatural Breakthrough means God Himself will break every wall and open every door that man, demons, and systems have closed against you. This 7‑day fast (May 2–8) is our altar of agreement for God to burst through like a mighty flood.
Introduction
In 2 Samuel 5:20, David said, “The Lord has broken through my enemies before me like a breaking flood,” and he called that place Baal‑Perazim, “Lord of the Breakthrough.” In Isaiah 43, God says He will bring sons and daughters from the east, west, north, and south, and do a new thing for His people. In this fast, we stand as a church for personal, family, and church breakthroughs in every area of life.
Expectations for the 7 Days
- Expect deeper hunger for God, not just answers, but intimacy with the Lord of the Breakthrough.
- Expect strongholds to break: delay, stagnation, sickness, confusion, and financial battles.
- Expect prophetic direction, fresh fire, and open doors for the church and every family.
- Expect restoration for what was rejected, blocked, or lost to become double honor
How This Fast Relates to the Hebrew Year 5786 and 2026.
Many prophetic voices see the Hebrew year 5786 as a year of open doors, fresh opportunities, and a big shift from heaven to earth. The letters of 5786 speak of God’s fire, His voice, new beginnings, and completion. God closing old cycles and opening new ones
In this fast, we agree with heaven in 5786: “Lord, let every door You are opening in this season open fully for our church and families.
Why We Fast as a Church
- We fast to humble ourselves and seek God’s face for mercy, direction, and power.
- We fast to break yokes and undo heavy burdens so captives go free.
- We fast as one body so that God visits not just individuals, but the whole house.
